My driving force when I got into real estate as a sociology major in College was to empower children by moving them into a “home of their own:, It is still my driving force 25 years later. We need NAR now as we have never needed them before to fight for us, the American Public.
The initiatives and tax credits are great, except that the banks are not moving on their inventory. Five months to close a sale? My investors are doing a different approach, We are buying REOs, NPNS, etc. from the bank and then putting people into them. Tada..They get their tax credit, children get a “home of their own”, ..now if we can JUST make the Congress address the housing Mess! Health care is important but when the entire baby boomer group in living in tents, we will have MASH ala US Army!
Jobs as well..i am so tired of hearing that WE created this mess.No we qualified and put people into what they could afford..but then THEY LOST THEIR JOBS..and even if you were conservative and only qualified on one income..Both parents lost their jobs..
What oh WHAT are they thinking up in Congress? We need you to keep up the good work! Thank you..
